DIORAMA WALLPAPER

I'm sure some of you
have probably attended one of Joan Huff's seminar's, which included
one of her delicately painted "walls" in the back of the egg. OK - I
can hear you all saying - delicately painted, yeah right!!!
Having attended one
of these seminars when Joan came to Australia, I think painting THAT
tiny wall was probably the most stressful part of the whole seminar.
Now you can beat Joan
at her own game (who knows, she may even take pity on the
artistically challenged among us and provide tiny sheets of
wallpaper in her kits) by making your own tiny wallpaper in whatever
pattern and colour you wish.
There are many very
dainty dingbat fonts that are perfect for doing this type of thing.

For this one I used
the Fleuron font, letters G & H. I coloured Layer 1 pale pink, and
then on the second layer I used the dark pink to print one G flower
and on the next line an H flower. On the third layer I changed the
colour to green and repeated the flowers. I used the Mover Tool to
align the green print over the top of the pink print and then used
the Eraser to remove the green flower. I then merged the two flower
layers together. I used the Deformation tool to rotate the flowers
to the vertical position. To get the multiple rows of flowers I
duplicated the layers and then moved them into position.

Another example using Borderbat Fleur2 -
numbers 4 & 3
